<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate unevenness in grinding in the width direction of a photoreceptor even in constitution where toner having grinding force is supplied to a grinding roller to grind the surface of the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The grinding roller 6 is provided between a transfer device and a cleaning blade 12 for removing residual toner after transfer. While the removed toner is supplied to the roller 6 as the toner for grinding, the surface of the photoreceptor 1 is ground. In such a case, a scraper 7 abuts over the width direction on the downside of the roller 6 and the toner for grinding is retained in the vicinity of the abutting part by the rotation of the roller 6.</p> |
