PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately operate an image forming process as required and to prevent curling of a recording material or contamination in an image even when the size of a recording material is changed, by using a toner prepared by fusing resin particles in an aq. medium. SOLUTION: In order to completely fuse a toner, it is necessary to add energy exceeding the variance of the toner. Therefore, the toner used has fine recesses and projections on the particle surface and has uniform surface property because the toner is prepared by fusing resin particles in an aq. medium. A toner prepared by fusing resin particles, coloring agent particles and release agent particles in an aq. medium is more preferably used. Since the toner is prepared by fusing in an aq. medium, processes to fuse and knead or to pulverize are not included, and uniformity in the toner can be maintained. Moreover, since melting of the toner when the toner is heated is accelerated by the presence of the fine recesses and projections to improve the fixing property, offset printing due to changes in the heat or changes in the adhesion of the toner to a recording material due to changes in the heat can be suppressed.
|
