PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transmission data conversion device, which quickly and efficiently converts data by executing data conversion accompanied with data transmission in a node capable of high-speed processing out of nodes for transmission/reception based on the condition at the time of transmission, and a computer readable storage medium where a program is stored. SOLUTION: A transmission data conversion device 4 is provided with a data format discrimination means 9 which discriminates consistency between a data format adopted in a transmission-side node 2A and that adopted in a reception-side node 2B, a data conversion capability acquisition means 6 which acquired the data conversion capability of the transmission-side node 2A and that of the reception-side node 2B, a high- capability node confirmation means 10 which compares the data conversion capability of the transmission-side node acquired by the data conversion capability acquisition means 6 with that of the reception-side node to confirm the node having a higher data conversion capability, and a data conversion execution means 8 which executes conversion processing of transmission data in the node having the higher data conversion capability which is confirmed by the higher-capability node discrimination means 10 in the case that it is discriminated by the data format discrimination means 9 that there is not consistency between data formats.
