PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repeater that sets address information to each built-in repeater without causing trouble such as a broken line. SOLUTION: A rectifier circuit DB is connected to a couple of multiplex signal line connection terminals NA, NB, a couple of switching circuits 11 (#A, #B) are connected to each of the multiplex signal line connection terminals NA, NB, and a current control element 12 is provided in an output terminal of the rectifier circuit DB. Then each of a couple of the switching circuits 11 (#A, #B) is connected to a couple of multiplex signal reception sections to which different addresses are set and the current control element 12 is on/off- driven in response to a command signal from a signal processing section corresponding to a couple of the multiplex signal reception sections.
