PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector causing no bubbles in a gel agent near a contact. SOLUTION: This connector comprises a case 2 having an engaging portion 21 and a containing portion 22, an insulator 3 molded inside the case 2 and bonded to the case 2, a contact 4 being embedded in the insulator 3 and provided at one end thereof with a contact portion 41 projecting inward the engaging portion 21 so as to be brought into contact with a counterpart connector 9 and at the other end thereof with a terminal portion 42 exposed inside the containing portion 22, a wire 5 for electrically connecting an electronic component 9 to the terminal portion 42 inside the containing portion 22, and a gel agent 6 filled into the containing portion 22 so as to prevent vibration of the wire 5. An air flow from the engaging portion 21 to the containing portion 22 on the boundary between the case 2 and the insulator 3 at a portion apart from the wire 5 is better facilitated than that from the engaging portion 21 to the containing portion 22 on the boundary between the insulator 3 and the contact 4.
