PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress rotational unbalance during use by standing protrusions at a constant interval on a rotary disc along the circumferential fringe thereof. SOLUTION: This slurry dryer comprises one rotary disc 1. Protrusions 3 are stood at a constant interval on the surface of the rotary disc 1 along the circumferential fringe thereof just like conventional rolls. Unlike a conventional roll, the protrusion 3 is simply projecting upward like a cantilever and secured by a stopping means 9 directing from the lower surface side of the rotary disc 1 toward the upper surface side thereof. According to the structure, conventional trouble where a matter to be dried in slurry adheres partially to the rotary disc 1 to cause unbalance thereof is eliminated thoroughly. Since the stopping means 9 of the protrusion 3 is not exposed to the surface, no friction is generated from itself and the protrusion 3 does not fall off.
