PURPOSE: A system and a method for distributing profits using log analysis are provided to distribute profits between web sites providing banner advertisements and advertisers' web sites linked with the banner advertisements using log analysis. CONSTITUTION: A system and a method for distributing profits using log analysis is composed of a first web server(30), a second web server(20) and a distributing system(10). The first web server(30) provides banner advertisements using the internet. The second web server(20) provided with a log processing unit(21) is linked with the banner advertisements and transmits log data. The log processing unit(21) carries out a function to transmit generated log files to the distribution system(10). The distributing system(10) comprises a log analysis unit(13) and a database server(12). The log analysis unit(13) analyzes the log data transmitted from the second web server(20). The database server(12) stores the log files received from the second web server(20).
