PURPOSE: An ink supply part of an ink jet head and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to perform fine printing by reducing an amount of ink to be discharged and simplify the manufacturing procedure, thereby reducing manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: An ink supply part of an ink jet head includes a glass board(30), an ink supply channel(33) defined on the glass board and divided into an ink nozzle part(33c) and an ink standby part(33b) from a bottleneck portion(33a), an elastic layer(36) formed for covering the ink nozzle part, a supporting layer(34) for supporting the elastic layer on the glass board with a predetermined space from the ink nozzle part, and a piezo-electric device(38) having an upper electrode and a lower electrode and positioned on the elastic layer for causing the elastic layer to press the space of the ink nozzle part according to an electrical signal.
