The invention concerns toothpaste compositions comprising abrasive particles based on solid calcic type material and at least a fluorinated agent. The particles are formed by a core based on calcic material (e.g. Ca carbonate) coated with a cortex comprising at least a hydrophobic product containing at least a fatty chain, preferably in C8-C24, (e.g. Na stearate). The invention also concerns the use of said particles in toothpaste.
