PURPOSE: A fluorescent indication panel is provided to ensure simple fabrication process and reduce the production cost by omitting metal components such as grid, filament and supporting member. CONSTITUTION: A front panel(20) and a rear panel(22) are arranged with a distance to form a vacuum vessel. An anode(30) is formed to the front panel(20) with a predetermined pattern, and coated with fluorescent material. A compartment layer(44) is provided to the first panel(20), and surrounds the boundary of the fluorescent material coated on the anode(30). A cathode(50) is provided to the rear panel(22) in a pattern corresponding to the anode(30), and emits electrons. An insulating layer(40) is formed to the rear panel(22), and shields the cathode(50). The cathode(50) is composed of a carbon layer, and formed with a thickness smaller than that of the insulating layer(40). The compartment layer(44) is formed with a thickness smaller than that of the fluorescent layer of the anode(30).
