PURPOSE: A device for portable digital media playback is provided to use a connector for automatically sensing connection with the communication ports of a cellular phone and a computer without power supplier, and to receive power needed for driving the device and supplementary functions by connecting with external equipments including a cellular phone and a computer. So that the device have a small and light structure. CONSTITUTION: A connector(60) has many power input terminals, a digital data transceiving terminal and a terminal. The many power input terminals are connected with at least two kinds of external equipments, and receive power supplied from external equipments. The digital data transceiving terminal transceives digital data with the external equipments. The terminal receives a classification control signal to classify kinds of the external equipments. A power distributor(110) supplies power from the external equipments through the connector to respective blocks. And the interface parts(70,80) control the transmission speed of digital data according to the classification control signal supplied from the external equipments through the connector, and transceive digital data with the external equipments.
