PURPOSE: A method for vicarious payment and reception of usage fees using electronic mail is provided to supply an effective vicarious usage fee payment and reception service, to enable real time confirmation of usage fee payment and reception by recording the information related to the user's fee payment, to simultaneously confirm and transmit default payment information, and to periodically or simultaneously enable the user to remit the payment information along with cash to the requester CONSTITUTION: A method for vicarious payment and reception of usage fees using electronic mail is composed of execution, authentication, and payment. The client(201) and the receiver(202) execute all functions related to user identification, service request, usage fee payment approval, result notification, payment record management by using electronic reception and web site connection methods through the host(203), which is composed of web server(203-1), mail server(203-2), and database (203-3), and the internet(205). The host completes the payment of authenticated and approved payment amount by using account transfer(204-1) and card settlement(204-2) methods through payment gateway(204).
