Organic lithium salt solution dehydration comprises contact with alkali or alkaline earth metal ion exchanged zeolite granules. Independent claims are also included for the following: (i) a battery containing an organic lithium salt solution dehydrated by the above process; and (ii) an apparatus for carrying out the above process.
