PURPOSE: A multi-purpose keyboard supporting the data input of a personal portable telecommunication terminal, is provided to utilize the multi-purpose keyboard, which is a supplementary device, and a key panel supplied from the terminal so as to easily input data. And the multi-purpose keyboard is used independently through a micro processor unit(MPU) by having functions of data input, hands-free, charging and usual personal computer(PC) keyboard. CONSTITUTION: A key input circuit transceives characters by directly connecting with a personal portable telecommunication terminal. A micro processor unit(MPU) regulates the functions of hands-free for voice speech, charging of the terminal and mouse operation. A central processing unit(CPU) is composed of the micro processor. A hands-free control unit interfaces between the CPU and the terminal to perform a hands-free function. A charger charges the terminal. A control switch interfaces among the keyboard, a personal computer(PC) and the CPU. And a memory performs data communication and related control between the terminal and the MPU.
