摘要 PURPOSE: Provided is a process for producing a skin-core single fiber comprised of metal and cellulose which has improved static electricity occurring restraint, electric conduction, electromagnetic waves absorption and metal luster. Thereby, it is possible to produce a skin-core single fiber comprised of metal and cellulose which has excellent static electricity occurring restraint, electric conduction, electromagnetic waves absorption and metal luster. CONSTITUTION: The skin-core single fiber comprised of metal and cellulose is obtained by a process containing the steps of: etch-treating a cellulose fiber; making sensitively the cellulose fiber by using a reducing agent; dipping it into a catalyst metal salt liquid to deposit a catalyst metal corpuscle on a surface; and then pre-settling, followed by electrolysis plating to constitute an inside core with the cellulose and an outside skin with the metal ingredient. The single fiber has a thickness of 5-130micrometer, a length of 1mm-100mm. The cellulose core has a thickness of 4-80micrometer, the metal skin has a thickness of 0.1-50micrometer. A composition of the single fiber is the cellulose of 1-99wt.%, the metal ingredient of 1-99wt.%, a moisture and a residual of 0.1-10wt.% in the weight ratio.
