The device has a base unit, onto which different dishes, for different temperatures, can be placed. A heating foil in the dish warms a preparation contained in the dish. The temperature is monitored and controlled by a heat-detecting resistor. The energy supply and control functions are performed in the base unit. The dish is connected to the base unit by four metal contacts, which connect the heating film and the heat-detecting resistor.
