Rubber material based on highly hydrogenated nitrile-diene-copolymer rubber and organic peroxide also contains a 2,4-dimercapto-1,3,5-triazine with a mercapto, alkoxy, mono- or di-(cyclo)alkyl-amino or N-alkyl-N-aryl-amino group in the 6-position, plus a peroxide-crosslinkable polymer with epoxide groups. Rubber material containing: (1) 100 parts by weight (pts. wt.) copolymer rubber with an iodine number of 15 or less, comprising 10-45 wt% unsaturated nitrile units, 0-5 wt% conjugated diene units and 90-50 wt% of units formed by the hydrogenation of unsaturated monomer units other than nitrile and/or diene; (2) 1-10 pts. wt. organic peroxide; (3) 0.1-15 pts. wt. 6-substituted 2,4-dimercapto-1,3,5-triazine of formula (I); and (4) 1-100 pts. wt. of a polymer with epoxy groups, which can be crosslinked with organic peroxide.
