PURPOSE: A vital electric signal recognizing computer system is provided to be capable of discriminating a user of a computer by recognizing an electric signal of the heart or a brain wave. CONSTITUTION: A vital electric signal recognizing computer system comprises reference electrodes(10) and activation electrodes(20). The activation electrodes(10) are compared at the reference electrode(10) and an amplitude comparator(12), and an amplitude difference is inputted to a computer(10). An amplifier(13) amplifies an amplitude of the activation electrode, which is compared with the reference electrode(10) at the amplitude comparator(12), and the amplified amplitude is supplied to the computer(100) through analog-to-digital converters(16,17). An input of a low band attenuator(14) and data from a high band attenuator filter(15) are selectively used as occasion demands. Amplitudes of left-hand, right-hand, left-foot and right-foot electrodes(31-34) are compared with a potential of the reference electrode(10) through an amplitude comparator(35), and a comparison result is amplified by an amplifier(36). The amplified result is converted into a digital signal through an analog-to-digital converter(27) so as to be supplied to the computer(100).
