PURPOSE: A car steering wheel and a method of manufacturing such wheel are provided to accomplish an aesthetic enhancement and prevent deformation of the wheel while using wood material for manufacturing steering wheels. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps a first step(S10) of cutting a steering wheel pattern at a wood plate, a second step(S20) of performing a rounding process to the steering wheel cut in the first step, a third step(S30) of forming a groove ranging from a rear surface of the steering wheel pattern to a central portion of the pattern, a fourth step(S40) of inserting a reinforcing rim having a shape same as that of the steering wheel pattern into the groove formed in the third step and fixing the rim using an adhesive, and a fifth step(S50) of performing sanding and printing process to the wheel pattern where the adhesive is solidified, thereby obtaining a final product.
