SWIRL INDUCTION TYPE TWO INTAKE VALVES HAVING DIFFERENT DIAMETER IN DIRECT INJECTION TYPE DIESEL ENGINE

PURPOSE: A swirl induction type intake valve is provided to achieve an increased output of an engine while promoting the swirl flow and atomized fuel to reach a combustible limit. CONSTITUTION: An intake port unit in a direct injection type diesel engine having a cylinder for ignition and explosion of air and fuel, comprises a spiral first intake port(200) which allows a first airflow to be sucked into the cylinder through the first intake port to form a swirl, and which has a diameter larger than that of a standard intake valve; a second intake port(210) which allows a second airflow to be sucked into the cylinder in tangential direction with respect to the swirl through the second intake port, so as to thereby conserve momentum of the swirl within the cylinder, and a swirl control valve(300) installed inside of the second intake port and which controls the volume of the second airflow flowing into the cylinder through the second intake port.
