BLDC MOTOR AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PULSE WIDTH THEREOF

PURPOSE: A BLDC motor and a method for controlling pulse width thereof are provided to restrain vibration and noise by preventing minute velocity variation due to load variation. CONSTITUTION: A phase signal generator(20) generates a phase signal of each phase based on back electromotive force of a stator. A counter(21) measures a variation time of the phase signal generated from the phase signal generator(20). An arithmetic unit(24) calculates the rotating speed of the rotor based on the variation time of the phase signal measured in the counter(21). A pulse generating unit(22) generates a pulse signal having a pulse width adjusted according to the rotating speed calculated in the arithmetic unit(24). A drive signal generating unit receives the phase signal from the phase signal generator(20) and a pulse signal from the pulse generating unit(22) to generate a drive signal.
