LIGHT DIFFUSION FILM FOR LCD HAVING TRANSPARENT PLASTIC FILM AS A BASE MATERIAL

PURPOSE: A light diffusion film for LCD (liquid crystal device) is provided, which has a transparent plastic film as a base material and is improved in total light transmission and light diffusion. CONSTITUTION: The light diffusion film for LCD comprises a transparent plastic base material (1) which is made of any one resin selected from the group consisting of polyester, polycarbonate, poly(methyl methacrylate) and polystyrene; a transparent resin layer (2) whose refractive index is larger than that of the transparent plastic base material (1) and which is formed on the one side of the base material (1); and a light diffusion layer (3) which comprises a binder resin, a light diffusion particle and an antistatic agent and is formed on the other side of the base material (1). Preferably the difference of refractive indices of the base material (1) and the transparent resin layer (2) is less than 0.2.
