The quarter-light adjustment has an elongated basic body (25) one end of which has fixture elements for attachment to a fixed part (22) of the vehicle; the other end forms one hinge part of a first hinge-link (31). The other hinge-part is in the form of a guide-bar. An operating lever (27) has one end in the form of one hinge part of a third hinge-link (33) and forms part of the other hinge part of a second hinge-link(32). A connecting bar (28) has fixtures for fixing it to the window (21). A catch in the form of a roller with notches has a hinge part longitudinally movable along a lengthwise guide. A sprung plate is between the catch and its compression spring.
