PURPOSE: A method for providing electronic wedding cards is to provide a service that a client can design his own unique wedding card with the sketch of a wedding hall through the internet. CONSTITUTION: If a client accesses a server through the internet(S4), the central processing unit of the server provides the wedding card information of a basic form extracted from a wedding card kind DB to the client(S5) and requests the client to select a wedding card kind through a wedding card kind selection request part(S6). If the client selects a desired kind(S7), the central processing unit provides basic phrase information to the client extracted from a basic phrase DB and requests the client to select one of the basic phrases or a direct input mode(S9). If the client selects the direct input mode(S10), the central processing unit provides a phrase input window to the client and requests the client to input a desired phrase(S11). Then, the central processing unit generates a wedding hall name input window and requests the client to input the name(S14). After the client inputs the name(S15), the central processing unit extracts all sketch image data having the same name that the user inputted(S17,S18) and requests the client to select a desired sketch(S19).
