PURPOSE: A method for driving a liquid crystal display device is provided to increase an image quality by optimizing a sequence of a data signal applied to a data line. CONSTITUTION: A demultiplexer for sequentially connecting one output pin of a data driving IC to many signal lines is included in LCD. When applying many color signals to the signal lines, specific signal lines are applied to the signal lines, the number of another signal lines applied to adjacent signal line is the same every color. Red signals are applied to the signal line, green signals are applied to the signal line, and then blue signals are applied to the signal line. Otherwise, green signals are applied to the signal line, blue signals are applied to the signal line, and the red signals are applied to the signal line. The demultiplexer performs a demultiplexing at least four data signals. The demultiplexer performs a demultiplexing odd data signals. Thereby, the image quality is increased by optimizing a sequence of a data signal applied to a data line.
