ATMOSPHERE COLOR AUTOMATIC EXTRACTION OF IMAGE SEARCH SYSTEM AND ORIGINAL COLOR ADJUSTING METHOD

PURPOSE: An atmosphere color automatic extraction of an image search system and an original color adjusting method are provided for adjusting an original color when building a color feature data in an image search system using the entire atmosphere color. CONSTITUTION: A hue component with respect to all pixel colors of an image is extracted. A histogram with respect to the Hue component is generated for thereby generating the maximum hue value(Hue_Max). The computer maximum hue value(Hue_Max) is compared with a certain critical value. As a result of the comparison, if the computed maximum hue value(Hue_Max) is below a certain critical value, it is assumed that there is not the entire atmosphere colors which may be expressed by the hue. As a result of the comparison, if the maximum hue value(Hue_Max) is above a certain critical value, it is assumed that there is the entire atmosphere color which may be expressed by the hue.
