To produce dental fitting bodies, especially for tooth restoration, the tools (5,15) are rotating pins with radial and end working surfaces (16,17,17'). When working the workpiece (1), both tools (5,15) are at the same level in relation to the advance movement axis (3) of the workpiece, so that they work along working surfaces tightly along each other. The tools (5,15) have two working directions (11,12) at right angles to the advance movement axis (3) of the workpiece (1).
