METHOD FOR SUPPLYING VEHICLE DIAGNOSING SERVICES USING MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINALS AND NETWORKS

PURPOSE: A method for supplying vehicle diagnosing services is provided to diagnose vehicles through questions and answers with vehicle owners, by receiving information recorded in electronic control units(ECUs) of the vehicles through ECU communication interfaces, and by transmitting the information to a server through mobile phones. CONSTITUTION: A method for supplying vehicle diagnosing services using mobile phones comprises the steps of: making a user connect to a service web site through a network connector or a mobile phone, or a computer connected to the internet, after purchasing an electronic control unit(ECU) communication interface, and receive a usage authentication to receive a downloaded program of the ECU communication interface; connecting the ECU communication interface with a server(40) of a service system through the mobile phone, to receive a remote diagnosing service; receiving a maintenance service; and receiving an ECU reprogramming service for a recalled vehicle.
