PURPOSE: A slide of a hard sick drive is provided to reduce a scratch of a slider or media by performing a rounding processing edges of slider with iron grinding. CONSTITUTION: A slider includes a channel, ABS, and at least one edge. The ABS is positioned between channels, and is faced to the media. The edge is positioned on a circumstances of the channel or ABS. In order to prevent a damage of edge or media caused by an impact, the slider of hard disk driver includes a tapered surface symmetrically formed to a front end of the ABS, and first and second front edges(8,9) which are rounding-processed. The first and second front edges(8,9) are positioned between the ABS and the tapered surface. Thereby, a scratch of a slider or a media is prevented,
