RUST-PROTECTION WORK FOR INSIDE OF BOX GIRDER STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A rust-protection work for the inside of a box girder structure is provided to prevent the inside of a box girder from being corrosive by using a wire brush and an anticorrosive. CONSTITUTION: A rust-protection work for the inside of a box girder structure comprises the steps of: rubbing off the rust inside a box girder by a wire brush; removing the rust stripped from the surface of a box girder by a vacuum cleaner; drying the inside of a box girder and sprinkling some rust-proof material such as Sell convertor, Rust convertor and Steel seal which change remaining rust to anticorrosive membrane; adding some evaporable anticorrosive material. In case of serious corrosive atmosphere, being rust can be restrained by closing a plug and long period of anticorrosive effect can be guaranteed by regularly dosing some evaporable anticorrosive material.
