Boat propeller drive with an underwater housing which is connected in a fixed manner to a boat hull and has tractor propellers which are arranged on that side of the housing facing ahead and the blade areas of which are adapted to one another in such a manner that, at least under certain operating conditions, the aft propeller works in a cavity-generating manner whereas the fore propeller works in a cavitation-free manner.
