PURPOSE: An inner-ring of catalytic converter for automotive vehicle is provided to achieve an improved work efficiency and prevent rejection rate while improving assembly procedure. CONSTITUTION: An inner-ring is made of a think metal film and has a rounded corner(20) so as to have a near-square pole shape. The inner-ring has at an end thereof a smoothing plane(21) having a predetermined width(b) and a band-shaped curvature(22) outwardly from and perpendicularly to the smoothing plane. A ring(25) constituting an extension portion(26) is formed inwardly from and perpendicularly to the smoothing plane. The extension portion(26) has at an end portion thereof a chamber(C) for increasing an internal size.
