<p>A method for extracting sealing opercula from bottles and containers to be filled, applicable to a bottling line of liquid foodstuffs comprising a conveyor for glass bottles or similar containers (11) capable of feeding the same one after another to a filling unit, where said bottles (11) are fitted with an operculum (13) to seal off their mouth (12), and where said method provides a first phase of shifting the grasping element (19, 23), by a grasping device (19, 23), from a resting position far removed from the operculum (13) to an engaging position with said operculum (13), a second phase of firmly grasping the operculum (13) and a third phase of extracting and removing the operculum (13) from the mouth (12) of the bottle (11), where said phases are performed while the bottles are kept in a continuous motion by the advancing conveyor. The system also includes an appropriate device for extracting the sealing opercula from the bottles or containers to be filled.</p> |
