The table consists of a rigid support (2) and a disc (1) which is attached to it made of flexible plastics. The support surface of the disc has elements (6a,7a,8a) which correspond to the base surface of the bottles. The elements are in the form of radial ridges whose width and spacing is approximately 1-2 mm and whose height is 0.4-0.6 that of the height of the disc (which is between 2.5 and 5 mm in thickness). The disc has a Shore hardness of between 85 and 99. The ridges do not extend all the way to the edge of the disc. Water channels (9b) are provided within the ridges.
