A runback distance part (30) is positioned near a thrust bearing arrangement (20) with rolling bearing (23). The rolling bearing is fixed in an outer bearing ring and has a bearing cover (21). The distance part has at least one oil return channel to regulate lubricant flow into/out of a shaft system. Selective positioning of the runback distance part relative to the bearing cover generates a desired lubricant flow path. The part is fixed in position relative to a differential support.
