PURPOSE: An event agent system and method is provided to allow an agent to notify goods with a discount rate, a consumer to catch a chance buying the goods by applying a purchase of the goods in order to enhance an advertisement effect of a support company. CONSTITUTION: An event agent system comprises a terminal(30), a router(50), a hub(60), an ethernet(70), and a web server(20). The terminal(30), connected to the internet, transmits the information, inputted by an event subscriber, to the agent web server(20). The router(50) enables a plurality of the client terminals to access the internet by one leased line. The hub(60), interconnected to the router(50), make the terminals(30), having different physical layers, access the agent web server. The ethernet(70) detects reflection signal, a multiple access and a network collision to prevent a network error when the client terminals more than two simultaneously access one network system. The web server(20), connected to the ethernet(70), gives regular data attributes according to an intension of the advertisement owner and the business purpose.
