PURPOSE: A ship for removing floating matters is provided to effectively remove oil and wastes in a short time by removing oil and wastes while the ship runs the oil diffusion area and the place where floating wastes are drifted. CONSTITUTION: A ship for removing floating matters includes an opening and shutting door (2), which is disposed at the head of the ship and opened and shut laterally, a scraper (10) for scraping and lifting the wastes flown toward the head of the ship and a water discharge gate (7) and an oil inflow gate (8) for discharging water flown into the ship outside and transferring water mixed with oil to an oil and water division chamber (20). The oil and water division chamber divides the upper water and oil of the water and oil mixture flown in when the oil inflow gate is opened and discharges to an oil adsorption chamber (30). The oil adsorption chamber adsorbs only oil of the water and oil received from the oil and water division chamber and discharges to an oil storage chamber (50). A discharge chamber (40) finally adsorbs oil contained in water discharged from the oil adsorption chamber and in water discharged from the oil and water division chamber and discharges only water.
