A system of interlocking concrete slabs has lugs (8) positioned along the sides of the slabs in preset patterns to interlock with similar patterns on adjacent slabs. The spacing of the lugs is designed to interlock with similar slabs or with slabs of different sizes, to assemble into selected patterns. The lugs are in pairs on one side and in single array on the opposite side, with the lug pattern in set lengths to ensure that the slabs interlock irrespective of the laying pattern.
