METHOD OF EXTRACTING HIGH-PURITY SN FROM SN MATTERS

PURPOSE: A method of extracting high-purity Sn from Sn matters is provided to recycle high-purity Sn by extracting from Sn sludge during electroplating. CONSTITUTION: H2O2 as a neutralizing agent is added to a matters type Sn sludge at a weight ratio of 5:1 and then mixed for 5min. A sodium hydroxide dissolver, a sodium silicate dissolver and a soda ash dissolver are added to the Sn sludge at a weight ratio of 1.25:0.13:0.63:1 and mixed for about 15min. The Sn sludge is mixed with wheat flour and wheat chaff used as a reducer at a weight ratio of 1:0.03:0.003. Finally, a coke is added to the Sn sludge at a weight ratio of 0.03:1. The mixed Sn sludge is dried to 10% of moisture content. The dried Sn sludge is heated at a temperature of 1100-1300°C in a reduction furnace. Sn is obtained as the Sn is separated from the sludge by reduction.
