<p>The invention relates to profiled filler sections for the rails of railway tracks (2), such as tramway tracks, that are flush with the ground. Said abutting profiled sections are made from a synthetic material and are inserted on both sides of the web of the rail (2) between the head (16) and foot of the rail. The invention is characterized in that a first type of element (20, 22) that makes up the greater part of the apparatus consists of hollow profile sections (34) that are made from an elastic material, whereby said profiled sections (20, 22) can be elastically deformed by relative movements between the rail (2) and the surrounding terrain (6, 10) under the effect of loads that said profiled sections must bear when railway or street vehicles circulate thereon.</p> |
