An inner lining section for vehicle passenger cells, comprises a structurally stable carrier section (1) and a decorative surface skin which is connected to the carrier section by a rear foam section. An adhesive layer (3) is located between the surface skin and the rear foam, and minimizes the diffusion of low molecular weight organic substances.
