The invention concerns a method which consists in producing a mailing cover containing an object (2) and related confidential data, said cover being sealed at the periphery such that subsequently, any attempt to open it is clearly visible and cannot be repaired. The method eliminates the risk of erroneous coupling between said object (2) and the related data, by positively linking, at the printing stage, the object (2) and the data medium (1), and by making the mailing cover sealed with said medium (1). The invention is useful for mailing smart cards and their confidential codes. |
