An advertising/trash-collection business methodology including manufacturing, custom designing, installing, servicing and maintaining advertising/trash-receptacle units (1) used at a municipality's or other organization's location(s) at no cost, with all costs borne by 3rd-party-paid, advertising revenues. The unit's housing (10) comprises an elongated, rectangular, box-like, lower, trash bin (30) section with a cylindrically-shaped top (13) having a vertically extended, easily changeable, advertising display panel (14) on its top, with the longer-sides (11) having easily changeable, advertising display panels (50), having, in a first embodiment (Figs. 1-6), a lockable (54), transparent, dual-separated-wall (55a/b), top hinged (51) structure, openable outwardly, with the dual-wall-space (56) used for easily changeable, translucent, advertising sheet material, with back-lighting (53a/53b), along with an audio messaging sub-system (60-63). Alternative, longer-side displays use rolled-up advertising material (Fig. 7) and electrically powered digital (Fig. 8) or video (Fig. 9) displays.
