The present invention pertains to the field of medicine, more precisely to that of endocrinology, and can be used for treating so-called adaptation diseases due to desynchronisms as well as for treating insomnia and a wide range of cardio-vascular, gastroenterological and other conditions where the drug agent used consists of melatonine. In order to exclude any addiction or disturbance in the epiphysis function during melatonine intake, this invention provides a method and a device that ensure the laser stimulation of the epiphysis during the favorable phases of increase in the blood-filling process (inlet and systolic phases of the patient's heart), that energetically ensure responses from the cells synthesising and releasing melatonine and that provide for a nearly 24-hour melatonine production cycle. In order to adjust melatonine synthesis in the bio-controlled physiotherapy device, the method involves connecting three laser emitters to the output of said device, wherein the output of each emitter has an average power density of 3 to 6 mWatt/cm<2>, a pulse succession frequency of 22.5 +/- 1 kHz and a wavelength of 0.8 to 1.3 mu m. The emitters are arranged on three sides of the head, i.e. on the summit and in the areas of the neuro-vascular bundles in the direction of the skull jugular openings in the epiphysis projection. The radiation sessions have a duration corresponding to 300 +/- 30 beats of the patient's pulse and are carried out daily for 10 to 15 days before sleep or in the first hours of the night. |
