PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the spilling of bran to the outside and to prevent the deposition of the bran in the parts of the slits of a rice milling screen when the rice milling screen is removed in order to mend a rice milling machine. SOLUTION: The void volume by the slits 10 formed at the upper slopes 3 of a square cylindrical body 2 of the rice milling screen 28 of the rice milling machine provided with the many slits 20 for discharge at the square cylindrical body 2 of a hexagonal shape opened at both ends is so set as to be smaller than the void volume by the slits 10 formed on the other surfaces of the square cylindrical body 2.
