PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material wherein a pattern useful for making a character negative film, block copies for plate making can be easily made using a complex heat transfer sheet, without using an expensive silver salt photograph film or optical equipment. SOLUTION: At least a deposit anchor layer 2, at least a metal deposit layer 3, and an adhesive layer 4 are stacked in this order on one side of a base 1 to form a heat transfer sheet A. When the sheet A is transferred to an image receiving sheet 7 having a transmission density of 0.5 or less with respect to a ray having a wavelength of 300-400 nm, the transmission density of an area of the image receiving sheet 7 where the sheet A is transferred becomes 2.0 or more. That is, if the sheet A is heated by a thermal head T, portions of the layers 2, 3, 4, which are heated, are transferred to the sheet 7, in the form of line drawing, and portions of the layers, which are not heated, are peeled off between a temporary adhesive layer 8 and the sheet 7, thereby forming a picture B. |
