PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately measure the blood component concentration by providing an analyzing part for analyzing optical information by receiving the optical information from a light-receiving living body by supplying the light to the living body, and outputting living body information to an output part by calculating the living body information by using a function according to an attribute of a subject by this analyzing part. SOLUTION: A detecting part 1 is constituted of a light source part 11 for illuminating a part of a living body, for example, a finger and a light receiving part 12 for picking up a light image of a living body part, and takes an obtained transmitted image in an analyzing part 3. The analyzing part 3 has a data processing part 2 to which attribute information on a subject is inputted from an operation part 35, analyzes the transmitted image inputted here by a characteristic extracting part 31, and compares (33) an obtained living body characteristic point with a stored characteristic point to set (34) an analyzing area. A concentration profile in the direction vertical to a blood vessel is made (21) in the analyzing area to be quantitatively determined (22), a quantitatively determined value is used, and a blood vessel width, the blood component concentration and an oxygeneration rate are arithmetically operated (23) on the basis of a function according to the subject to be outputted to an output part 24.
