PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heat resistant thermoplastic resin pellets having favorable quality characteristics without developing coloration, thermal deterioration, crack or the like. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method includes a process for extruding a heat resistant thermoplastic resin 20 under molten state through fine holes 14 provided in an extrusion die 12, a process for cutting a maleimide-based copolymer under molten state just after the extrusion through the fine holes 14 and a process for obtaining a maleimide-based copolymer pellets 24 under solidified state through the cooling of the cut maleimide-based copolymer 24 under molten state. The heat resistant thermoplastic resin 20 can have a glass transition temperature of 150-300 deg.C and can be a resin including a maleimide- based copolymer. |
