PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the mounting structure of a sash frame, in which welding works and the filling works of waterproof mortar are not required and which has excellent workability. SOLUTION: The mounting structure of the sash frame is constituted in such a manner that the bottom plates 61 of channel-shaped sectional mounting metal fittings 6a with bottom plates 61 and pairs of flanges 62, 63 having different width formed at both-side edge sections, crossing at right angles with the bottom plates are fixed along the inner circumferential surfaces A of the four sides of a building-frame opening section, directing the flanges 62 having narrower width to the outdoor side, the sash frames 10 are superposed to the mounting metal fittings 6a from the outdoor side, the outdoor-side peripheral sections 16 of the sash frames 10 are fixed onto the outdoor-side flanges 62 of the mounting metal fittings 6a and the indoor-side peripheral sections 17 of the sash frames 10 onto the indoor-side flanges 63 of the mounting metal fittings 6a respectively, and sections among the outdoor-side peripheral sections 16 of the sash frame 10 and the inner circumferential surfaces A of the building- frame opening section are filled with a caulking 81 for waterproofness.
