PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manhole frame mounting and fixing device capable of mounting and fixing a manhole frame made of FRP irrespective of a surface condition of a slab when a manhole frame, particularly, the manhole frame made of FRP is mounted and fixed in an opening of the slab. SOLUTION: A manhole frame mounting and fixing device 11 consists of a shaft body 12 positioned in a shaft core of an opening part 3 of a slab 1, an expansible tentacle 13 which is attached to the shaft body 12 so as to travel vertically and has a touch panel 16 in a tip part, and a manhole frame mounting jig 15. Consequently, since a manhole frame 4 made of FRP is gripped by a manhole frame grip member 14 moving a manhole frame mounting shaft horizontally by the manhole frame mounting jig 15, the manhole frame 4 does not come into contact with a slab surface, and the manhole frame made of FRP does not cause the damage such as thermal deformation even if the slab surface is asphalt-waterproofed.
